The Biwako Great Fireworks Festival launches approximately 10,000 fireworks over Lake Biwa, Japan's largest lake. The fireworks reflect beautifully off the calm lake surface, creating a mirror effect unique to this waterside venue. Star Mines fired from multiple points across the lake create wide panoramic displays, while underwater mines send fountains of light erupting from the water.
