Toka Ebisu is a major New Year festival held at Imamiya Ebisu Shrine in Osaka, dedicated to Ebisu, the god of business prosperity. Over three days, approximately one million visitors come to pray for commercial success and purchase lucky bamboo branches (fukuzasa) decorated with auspicious charms. The festival is a beloved Osaka tradition marking the start of the business year.

Access
Nankai Imamiyaebisu Station, direct access. Also 5 min walk from Osaka Metro Ebisucho Station (Sakaisuji Line). JR Shin-Imamiya Station is 10 min walk.
Tips for Visitors
January 10 (hon-ebisu) is the busiest day. The shrine is open until late evening. Try to visit early morning to avoid the biggest crowds. Fukuzasa prices range from 1,000 to 50,000+ yen depending on decorations.
