The Tsukiji Honganji Bon Odori is one of Tokyo's largest and most accessible Bon dance events. Held in the courtyard of the iconic Indian-style Buddhist temple, it features a towering yagura (dance tower) surrounded by hundreds of dancers moving in concentric circles to traditional and modern folk songs.

Tips for Visitors
Anyone can join the dance — just follow the movements of experienced dancers around you. Wearing a yukata adds to the atmosphere but is not required. Food stalls offer festival treats.
